Overview
At Mentor Me Collective our goal was to provide users with a visually appealing, user-friendly, and secure platform that redefines the online shopping experience, setting a new standard in the industry.
How it all started
We conducted extensive surveys to gain insights into user preferences, pain points, and shopping habits. These surveys helped us identify the features users valued most, such as secure payment options, intuitive navigation, and personalized recommendations.
Usability Testing
During multiple rounds of user testing on the old website, several key pain points were uncovered. One of the most significant findings was that users consistently struggled to locate important sections, particularly the Referrals and Lifestyle areas. This not only hindered the overall user experience but also reduced engagement with these critical features.
Users reported confusion due to the unclear navigation structure and the placement of these sections, which led to frustration and an inability to fully explore the website’s offerings. These insights provided a clear direction for improvement, emphasizing the need for a more intuitive and accessible design that would prioritize user needs and ease of navigation.
Solution
By prioritizing user usability throughout the design process, the new website became significantly more user-friendly and intuitive. The redesign focused on simplifying navigation, particularly improving access to important sections like Referrals and Lifestyle, which were previously hard to find.
Clear, structured menus and strategically placed call-to-action buttons guide users seamlessly through the website. This usability-driven approach resulted in a higher-quality experience overall, reducing user frustration and increasing engagement with key content areas. By putting the needs of the users first, we ensured that the website not only looked better but also performed better, meeting both client and user expectations.
